My first blog ever!

Thanksgiving night. Cooked dinner. Had a friend and father-in-law here discussing the state of the world and thought "Wow, I should really blog. What a great way to get all this stuff out there and see what others think as well. So I'm joining the ranks of the opinionated masses that feel they should have their voices heard, even if only by a few. Narcissistic? Perhaps, but oh well. Enjoy the rants!
